monday the twelfth

thawing out
i always get really excited for the snow
to finally wash away into street drains,
green is such an uplifting hue,
but the saturation is saturated
and brown is whats left to make due with.

snap crackle and pop
while i consider myself
more enthralled while being
a breakfast cereal conversationalist
it does fill me with sorrow that
you can't keep your
rice paper promises
